My sister went last week and was selected for all day FP to MGM. Too bad she had tix to Pirates and Princesses that night!

I could very easily turn down a castle stay. I enjoy an evening stroll around the Beach Club/Boardwalk area with a cocktail and the wife and given that Magic Kingdom is alcohol free it would be difficult to do this down Mainstreet USA.

Eh, There were cramming cupcakes in our faces at DL on it's actual 50th. I think they force feed you cupcakes every July 17th. That's not so special and they really aren't very good cupcakes.

I'll be spending a week in disney for my honeymoon and if offered the sweet i may just decline. With all the things i have planned i dont think i could accept using up a whole day just so i can spend an evening in the castle.

Thats easy to say for some. I'm in montreal so i have to worry about getting there which in of it self is expensive. Furthermore I got a baby on the way so my finances arn't nearly disney feasible for now. When i do finally come back the attractions that are there may no longer be there. I'm already upset that time keeper is gone

This is a very interesting thread!!
When I think about it........ there are circumstances that I might turn down the castle night!

I've always dreamed of "living" in the castle.... I used to tell people that!!
I adore Cinderella...... hence my DIS name!
But I am not sure how this all works..... so, would they pay for me to keep my night at my resort so I wouldn't have to "pack up and move"?? And then leave most of my stuff there and just pack for the one night.
When is "check out" ??
Could I have breakfast there the next morning?

I'd be asking a lot of questions.
