Wingate Inn Universal Studios?

This is probably not the right site to ask this. But has anyone stayed at the Wingate Inn just west of Universal Studios?
If so, or you know anything about this hotel, please post, we are thinking about staying here when we go to Universal.

Or if you know of another good hotel to stay at ...

It is located right next to the Wellesly, and is much nicer than the Wellesly. IMHO. The pool is small, but the staff was really nice, the rooms clean and done with a dark cherry wood and deep tones. I would stay there again.
