Wine Tasting?

Is the wine tasting worth it? I have heard so many good things about it on this board. We have been to many wine tastings and wineries, that I can't see that it would be worth it. Is it great because you learn lots about wine (we may already know most of it from our past tastings), or because the wine is something special (special releases) or just because it is fun and should be treated as entertainment, but not educational?
Right away I see the words "wine tasting" and thought "that is something we would love". But, I am finding that lately we find these tastings boring due to the amount we have been to. Also, I find that resorts usually don't have any special wines, just the average stuff you can buy at the store. We usually try to go to wineries whenever we are near them (Napa, South Africa, Germany, etc).
Tell me why we would enjoy the Disney wine tasting?

Well we have been to many tastings too but still loved it! The scene is nice -especially if you get there early as we did and sit next to a porthole. Each person gets if I remember correctlysix or seven types to try. They were high quality wines. I had never tried a Moscato before and really enjoyed it, so much so I ordered some with dinner that night. They do cool thing at the end-knifing a champagne bottle. They explain how to do it and DH did it for our guests at New Years which was worth the 16.00 alone! Ann
