It still mentions the Jiko wine tastings on Jiko's page on the official Disney World website so I assume they are still doing them. My husband and I went to one back in September 2011. It was a really nice time. There is plenty of wine (they let you taste three then you get more pours of what you enjoyed until the bottles are gone) and you each get your own cheese plate with accompaniments. The people that led ours were very knowledgable and fun. It was also nice to sit with a small group of people and make new friends. AJ from the disneyfoodblog was there when we went. It was cool to meet her and talk for a while. Anyway you are correct about the time and price. I definitely recommend doing it. Just call 407-938-7149 and leave a message to make a reservation. I got a confirmation email the same day.
