Wine tasting at Jikos

I am staying at AKL for the first time in 10 days.
I noticed on the e mail Disney sent to me that they do wine tasting at Jikos on Weds at 4pm.
Should I call and make a reservation for this? Do DVC members get a discount?
If anyone has done it I would appreciate feedback.

We've done it a couple of times. No discounts as far as I'm aware.

You get a sample of three South African wines (the first time we did it it was Cabernet Sauvignon, the second sparkling) along with a selection of cheeses and other accompaniments. The experience is hosted by one of the sommeliers from Jiko.

Whilst there is a cancellation policy you pay at the time of booking.

We enjoyed it! It was a nice little break in the afternoon. I called in advance to get the reservation.
