Wine question

I know we can bring wine onboard and either drink it in our cabin or bring it the the MDR and pay a corkage fee. I also know that if we buy a wine package and we don't drink the entire bottle at dinner that they will hold it for us to drink the next night. But how does it work if we bring a bottle of wine from our room to dinner and lay the corkage fee, but don't finish the bottle at dinner? Do they hold it? Are you allowed to take it back to your room again? And if you don't finish the glass you're drinking at the end of dinner, can you walk out of the dining room with it? Trying to figure out if it's a better idea to drink any wine we bring in the room only and order other wine for dinner, or if it will work to bring our own wine for both. Thanks!

Yes, they will hold it. And keep it chilled, if necessary. It will show up in the next evening dining room.

Or you can take it back to your room.

In the MDRs, our servers have given me the option of taking an unfinished bottle back to the stateroom even for bottles purchased on board or storing the bottle for the next noght's dinner. I usually leave it for the next night, since my DW doesn't drink.

Oh that's great to know! That's a big help since I like red and my DH likes white, but there's no way we're drinking a bottle each at dinner, and I wasn't really excited at the thought of having to have the same wine every night at dinner. Thanks!
