Wine prices in resort gift stores

I want to say wine was around $20 a bottle maybe a little less. Much better deal than the "individual sealed glasses of wine" they sell.

Last summer we bought a red blend “Once Upon a Vine” Big Bad Blend at Poly gift shop and the CM in the gift shop let us use a corkscrew kept behind the counter. It is worth asking if you forget a corkscrew.

We bought a bottle of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay yesterday at Screen Door on the boardwalk. It was $22. That’s double what we pay at home. Looks like that is also Garden Grocer price. We are fortunate and can bring our own wine, but we only brought reds.

This is from August 2019 so prices may be dated.... but Market at Ale & Compass at YC wine selection/prices:
Wow, thanks for that! That seems much more reasonable than I remember. We were staying at Beach Club and I only remember there being maybe 3 different wine's available with no Cab's. I'll have to make sure to shop around next time.

You can simply bring the wine from home if you are checking a bag. My DH travelled for business (pre-Covid) and brought back many bottles of fancy beer from the places he visited. I would just make sure to wrap it in plastic in case it breaks even though my DH never had a single bottle of beer break.

I bought a pinot noir at Screen Door last November for about the same price.

Thank you! That was the reason for my ask- if GG price is close to the same I’ll just order through Instacart (for the savings) and pick up a bottle of wine on property. Thanks everyone!

We often do this - honestly if for no other reason then it's just convenient for us, and we have/get exactly what we want.
