Wine or Champagne Tastings?

For wine tasting, does the term stern to stern mean that the location moves or does the event take place in one location? Thanks

One location. Our tasting last month was in Ooh La La on the Fantasy.

So as I said above, we did the wine tasting. It was okay - I really missed the interactive element of the Mixology classes, but I did enjoy the wine tasting. Looking forward to trying the champagne one next (keeping my wine experience in mind and knowing it won't be interactive). :)

You may end up in a champagne cocktail tasting. On our cruise it was listed as Champagne and it turned out to be Champagne cocktails. We had a great time mixing the drinks and enjoyed ourselves very much.

Oh cool! That sounds like fun. :)

We did the champagne tasting on the Magic and LOVED it. Ross, the CM that ran the class is the sommelier in Palo. He introduced us to Moet Ice, which is our new favorite champagne. He was also found a bottle of wine in their "cellars" that DH and I tried for the first time at Citricos, which we haven't been able to find. He was also able to find several Sancerres when our MDR server told us there wasn't any on the ship.

We have also done the Mixology twice and the chocolate tasting classes. They are all really fun!

Can't wait to do this next month! I have the Champagne tasting and Rainforest Full Length cruise passes I want to purchase.
These were gifts I told my mom I gave her for her birthday and Mother's Day. Can't wait!

I see lots of reviews of Mixology, and it looks like a lot of fun, however, we have adamant non-mixed drink folks in our group. Has anyone done the wine or champagne tastings? Are they fun? I've never seen any reviews or comments about them.

We love all of the drink tastings. Mixology, Wine, Beer, Martini. Did Chocolate and Liquor on the Wonder in May and that was amazing! I don't think you'll go wrong as long as you like the type of item being offered (i.e. I would not go to Tequila tasting as I'm not a Tequila person!)

I did the champagne tasting and the cognac tasting in Feb and enjoyed both. I am very hesitant to do the wine tasting as I do NOT like white wines at all - if they did a JUST REDS tasting I'd be all over that, but whites are WAY too sweet for me to find them enjoyable.

This is why you do wine tastings! Not all whites are sweet. DW doesn't like sweet wines either, red or white, and I mostly just tolerate them, but we have found some very good non-sweet whites when doing tastings. I don't care for most champagnes and sparkling wines, so if they are offered at a tasting I just take a small sip and then pass it on to DW.
