I looked online at Trader joes dot com, my friend said that there is one located in Nashua NH...on the website it has them listed in Mass...does anyone know if there is one in Nashua???
Sadly, we don't have a Trader Joe's (which I ) or a Cost Plus World Market. We do however have a pretty good wine shop called Total Wine, located mostly in Eastern states.
I always usually buy a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau around the holidays. It isn't my favorite wine, but what the heck, it only comes out once a year and lets face it... I'll drink just about anything.

I am jealous of you all...we used to have trader joes wine available in my hometown back in CT, but I moved to PA 7 years ago, and grocery stores here aren't allowed to carry liquor. No more TJ's wine!
TJ's in CT doesn't sell wine & never have. You need a Liquor License in CT(ex: you must be an actual liquor store in CT to sell anything other than beer) and they do not have one and never have.
Isn't it $3.29 Chuck in Virginia? We occasionally go to the Trader Joes in Tyson's to buy a case of the Shiraz. For the money it can't be beat. I'd love to try the boujolais.
It isn't sweet... If you like french-style wines, you will probably like this one. Actually, this year's vintage has been my favorite so far out of all the ones I've had since I turned 21.. but I still wouldn't want to drink it so that's not saying a lot. lol
Just remember this wine doesn't cellar well so if you buy it, you should drink it very soon. Don't hold on to this bottle
Amen to that. Just for the record, Beaujolais Nouveau is above all a marketing stunt. The name says it all: it is the current year's Beaujolais, sold to the consumer as soon as decently possible. (At the risk of offending the purists among you, "Beaujolais" simply means that it is red wine from a certain part of France.)
Different vinyards may sell somewhat different tasting Beaujolais Nouveau, but since they all come from the same region, they will tend to be about the same. Fairly light; depending on the year, the taste may be somewhat fruitier. And no, it usually doesn't age well.
And the reason I say is that it is a marketing stunt was that several years ago, some of the vinyards began hyping their new Beaujolais - "Be the first on your block to taste it!" For a few years, the price even increased somewhat, since the buyers began competing with one another. However, saner heads realized that they were paying excessive prices for fairly basic wine.
You can get better wines for the same price - the main thing going for Beaujolais Nouveau is its novelty value. Nonetheless, it is drinkable. And, for the record, I am now Dising with a glass of Baujolais Nouveau in hand ...
Well shoot. Did you happen to ask if they were getting it in stock? I guess I'll put off my trip there tonight, I was sorta going there for that specifically. Maybe I'll wait until this weekend.
I'll take note of the other suggestions made (and be sure to SAVE this thread to my favorites ) in csae I can't find the Beaujolais Nouveau.
I'm not sure if we have World Market stores or not. Hmmmmm....gotta look into that.
There are actually 3 I believe. That is due to the MA law stating that only 3 liquor licenses can be given to any business (the entire state). So when we are in Framingham we do stop. Not often we get to Brookline.
Well I just had to have this wine tonight so I stopped by World Market (which is in Chevy Chase, at the Friendship Heights Metro station) and picked up a bottle. I'm having a glass now. Its very delish! I'm not a wine snob at all, I actually know very little about wine so I'm always happy to get suggestions from those more knowledgable. As others have said, its very light and fruity. I really like it a lot.
Do keep your eye out at those TJs if you would Tim. We have one here in D.C. too, but for some reason I rarely go to that one, even though its only about 10 blocks from me. I prefer the one in Tyson's Corner.

I was going to say the same thing! I noticed the bright and beautiful colored bottle in the World Market ad in Sundays paper and told myself I must pick up a few bottles of the Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau! I was surprised because World Market doesn't have very good prices (for things I like) and $9.99 is a great price. Try and get some and enjoy
Oh, and has anyone tried the "Cupcake" brand wine also advertised at WM? It looks interesting and is also $9.99.
