Does it have a happy hour? How is the food? Need to make an ADR in advance or can you walk up or make it the day before? Really curious about a happy hour.

We just walked in on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of seats available at the bar or tables.
Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.
the food looked good, but we had just had lunch so didn't try any.
Don't think they take ADRs, but not sure.
Incredible wine list by the glass for white and reds.

Thanks. They do take ADRs but I guess we'll wing it. We will be going a Mon or Tue in May so probably not too busy.

Amazing wine and everyone working there was so knowledgeable. We only got a cheese board, but it was really good, all the food we saw looked great. Next time we will go when hungrier.

You can book on Open Table to give you more flexibility to cancel. When we went it was just after lunch time on a weekend afternoon and it was quite empty.

Yelp doesn't say that it is good for happy hour, and none of the reviews mention it, so I am doubtful they have it. They did have a board with some specials when we went. It is my new favorite bar/restaurant in Disney.

Thank you! When I booked on open table it gave me a special offer (BOGO wine on tap). Woo hoo!

No idea about a happy hour anywhere in Disney Springs but you can check Wine Bar George's web site by googling.

We celebrated NYE there and they had a special menu that night. We made sure to have the fish family platter to get an idea of their regular menu as well as ordering off the special menu. It's quite limited: a fish, hangar steak, and chicken platter as I recall but everything seems solid. The table next to us sitting on the outside patio seemed to very much enjoy their steak and we certainly liked the fish. A lot of nearby tables ordered the charcuterie board as well.
I book most DS restaurants via open table now since it has more availability than Disney's sight and oftimes a more generous cancellation policy.

Disney Springs has a bunch of happy hours...

My wife and I ate there in July. We split the steak and agreed it is now our favorite single DDP credit restaurant in all of Disney. Food quality was way above par for a Disney restaurant and the wine selection was the best we have seen in Disney. Dont let the limited menu deter you from eating there.

Did you have the hangar steak that is listed on the menu as being served family style? Was it one credit for the meal or one credit per person? TIA

And that’s the thing — most of the better restaurants at Disney aren’t Disney restaurants but are independent. We have just about foresaken any Disney owned restaurant.

We shared the hangar steak and it is one credit per person. We also had dessert and I think they let you get a glass of wine up to $15. You can also get other drinks but cabernet is our drink of choice.
