Wine Bar George seems like an interesting place. I would like to try it on upcoming trip. We will be on the basic Dining Plan. This place confuses me on how to use the dining plan.

We are a Family of Five (DD16, DS15, DD13). My kids are foodies. My DH will need to leave our trip a bit earlier due to work so we will have an extra 2 TS credit.

If we were visit Wine Bar George with 7 TS Credits on a Friday during lunch, what could we order?

Beverage:
My kids would have sodas (3). How many adult beverages would we be able to get (one each or two each).

Meal:
Would we be able to get the Entree: Skirt Steak-Family Style (for 2)? How many credits?

Is it each one Small Plate per credit?
Or is just lunch items such Steak Frites?

Would we be able to Artisanal Cheese Board or Charcuterie Board? How many credits each?

Dessert:
Then how many desserts 7? Olive Oil Cake or Key Lime Pie

Is The Chocolate Experience not option? Even with extra credits?

Is it all worth it?

Should just me & my husband go? But he's limited for time and would like to spend it all together.

So confused. Need help planning how to use the credits wisely.

Call the restaurant directly and ask them. I know the answers to a few of your questions from eating there but I cant answer all of them.

When you say basic dining plan do you mean the regular dining plan or something else?

Overall I can say WBG gives you a great meal for the money. Food menu is limited but just allows them to concentrate more on the dishes they cook.

We ate there for the first time on December 31, 2018 during our adult trip and in addition to the regular menu they had a special one which is what we ate from mostly although we did share a whole fish dinner from the regular menu and it was just lovely. Not overcooked, and quite succulent. The olive cake dessert is worth having at least once in life and I've had it several times but never as fancy as at WBG before; still delicious.

We returned there with children (both aged around 13) in early April and ordered a variety of dishes for lunch. Again, all winners that just added to the mellow atmosphere. The key lime desserts (2) was inhaled by the girls and man. I played with the olive cake I ordered (wasn't really hungry for dessert) and allowed the others to finish it which they did gladly.

We ate there both times off plan but were we on one I'd consider it a good bang for the buck. It certainly was, OOP.

I believe the family style entrees are 1 TS per person, same for sandwiches, and wine or cocktails are included on either eligible plan (DD or DxDP) up to about 14.00. None of the desserts had any written notations on the menu saying it was an enhancement so would be included in either plan.

For NYE, we ate upstairs at a regular table indoors. For April, we ate upstairs, on the outdoor patio. Both had great views and were very calming.

We made our reservations at opentable.com since I find that easier than making ADRs via WDW website. The dining plans are still accepted no matter where you make your reservation.

Sorry, I can't answer all your questions but as @jsbowl16 noted, calling them is a good thing too:).

I would definitely give them a call. I called them about dinner on the DDP and they were able to answer all of my questions. We are going in less than two weeks, and I cannot wait!! I know that for dinner, you can get a Family Style meal or 4 Small Plates, two glasses of wine and two desserts for 2 Table Service credits. I think lunch may be a little different.

Hope you enjoy it. My wife and I agree that this is one of the hidden gems at all of Disney World right now. Nobody talks about it because they have a smaller menu and people think it is just a bar but if you make good food you don't need a Cheesecake Factory size menu to have an amazing restaurant.

I went for the first time in November with a friend for appetizers and wine. I can't wait to take my family there in less than two weeks for dinner!!
