Wine and Dine

I'm wondering if anybody has done the wine and dine package and can give me feedback on it. I'm considering doing this (if I can still add it) with our DxDP. We usually do something similar to this on our cruises. I've booked a signature restaurant pretty much every night of our stay, and it would be nice to have wine with each meal.

So, my questions: If you did it, would you do it again? How do you add it to an existing reservation? Can you have the wine delivered to your room if you don't drink it at the restaurant? how much is it? Thanks!

We purchased the Wine and Dine Plan for our late 2010 visit to WDW. The W&D Plan cost was bundled into the entire package price--so I don't have anything precise for you. My recollection is that it was roughly $40-45 CAN per night per room. The W&D Plan gives you 1 wine entitlement (not including gratuity) per night for your length of stay.
You can look at the wine lists for participating restaurants at the WDW website. As you look at the wine lists for the Signature restaurants, there are a lot of 2 wine entitlement wines. Wine entitlements can also be used to purchase bottles of wine from Private In-Room Dining, each of bottle of wine ordered from Private In-Room Dining costs 2 wine entitlements.
The value of the Plan really depends on your taste in wines, and on the value you place on pre-payment of wine costs. If you go more 'high-end' (according to Disney) on wine, you could easily use up all your wine entitlements before the end of your stay and still wind up paying OOP. For example, a bottle of Fairy Tale Cuvee sparkling wine is 2 entitlements on all the WDW wine lists I saw.
