Wine and Dine- Bus question

Hi Everyone,
My mom is running the wine and dine in nov! She was wondering if she stays at a hotel that offers race packages, but doesn't book the package can she still use the race bus to get to the starting line? Are race busses offered at all resorts free of charge or how does this work??

There is no additional charge for the busses and you do not have to have been part of a race package to use them. Just let the hotel know that she will be running the race so that they have an accurate head count to coordinate enough busses for each hotel.

There are 'official' resorts for the W&D. If she stays at one of these resorts she can ride the race bus regardless of how she booked.

For my first W&D race I booked a room just a day or so before the race (cast discount) and had no prob riding the bus- The front desk has nothing to do with the busses so that doesnt matter

And the front desk can give bad info. I had taken the Disney bus to the 5k in jan from SSR. When I got to our next resort the front desk guy said that was impossible as there was no race bus from there. Ok, buddy....

I think he was getting his races confused and thought SSR was never a host resort or something.

Disney's All Star Music Resort
Disney's All Star Sports Resort
Disney's Beach Club Resort
Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Villas
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
Disney's Polynesian Resort
Disney's Pop Century Resort
Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside,
Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Disney's Yacht Club Resort

She will need to stay at one of these resorts (or walk to one) to catch a bus to the expo to pick up her packet and for transportation to and from the race. When we went for the Princess HM, we went to MK in the morning, took the bus to GF to catch a bus for the expo, went to expo and took the bus back to Pop. No one asks for any ID of any type.

They also provide buses from the Epcot parking lot to WWOS for the race start. This works great for people with a car.
