I like your logic here it seems pretty sound to me. I keep forgetting it rained last year even though I've watched a million videos of it on youtube.

I want the Princess and Tinkerbell for my coast to coast next year. But hey if we can get into one that sold out in 35/45 min we can do that one!

I ran it in 2014...still drying out.

Also, Princess is a bigger race than Wine & Dine. That should help.

Not shocked it sold out so quickly seeing as almost every race lately seems to be going quickly!

Here's to hoping I won't have issues come June for my husband's Rebel Challenge + 5K.

This. I'm hoping to do the 5k and 10k on Princess weekend, or at least the 10k. Don't think I'll be ready to try a half just yet, but by the time I work up to that distance the races will probably be selling out in 30 seconds!

I thought they might expand capacity from last year because of no ToT, but based on how quickly it sold out, I thinking they still capped it around 14k to keep it a smaller race! Will be interesting to see in a few months when corrals are released how many people registered.

WOW!! I tried to regisster for the DH and there were 100 people waiting to register in front of me...glad that we decided to do it another year!

I think it's putting the age you will be on race day. I checked for both hubby and myself and it has us as a year older, but we will be those ages by November.

That makes sense, lol! My brain is a little slow now. Thanks!

I cannot believe how quickly it sold out! Feeling very thankful that me, my hubby, sister, bro-in-law and friend got in! Cannot wait for November

Very disappointing ...was put in queue for 20 minutes ...got in and did my registration ...then started Dh's and it is sold out. I am not going to do the race without him...I guess I am out the $65 registration and $15.99 for the pin. I just did the frozen 5k on the princess weekend and did not register for awhile after it went on sale. I guess this is a much smaller race.

The ID changes each race, but it's pretty easy to find. I can usually track them down once pre-registration opens up for DVC/AP. I'll keep an eye out for others if people need them, since I won't be registering for another race until WDW Marathon weekend.

The challenges tend to sell out the fastest. I remember Dopey this year and Pixie dust were around 20 minutes each.

You can always defer your race registration to the following year.

Don't give up hope. Travel providers should have available registrations. Maybe you can get one for your husband through one of those?

DH and I in for both the half and 5k! I was registered at 11:59 for the Half and hubby at 12:07! Then I waffled and debated and texted my husband about the 5k. It was still showing 1% sold out so I was "thinking" maybe I sleep on it and register tomorrow. NOT!! I decided I really wanted to do it, plus the hotel and airfare would already be paid for. Might as well run an extra 3 miles!!!

I know its too late, but was there a way to register for the 5k and Half at the same time? Or do you always have to register for each race separately?

I don't think you can defer a 5K
