Wine and Dine 2015

I haven't had a chance to read additional pages, so apologies if you've already answered this question... did you just get the link after clicking from the runDisney page or somewhere else? I know in the past I've had better luck from their Tweeting the link, but it looks like today they were 13 minutes behind over there. Hoping to sign up for Avengers next, and just curious where the first place I should go for a working link.

Thanks!

It usually takes a little bit of digging around to find the Event ID number. All the events are set-up on Active around the time that pricing goes on the RunDisney page, but they're hidden via discrepancies in the naming convention. Like, for Disneyland Half, the URL contained Anaheim_Fl instead of Anaheim_Ca. Once I find that, I can usually just drop in the event ID and it will take me to the waiver page and then I know it's good to go.

I'll track down the Avengers link when DVC/AP registration goes live and post it for you!

@mbwhitti - Did you end up doing the pre-race taste?

No, not yet. I was going to wait, bc DH isn't sold on it. He'd rather spend the money on our after race cruise. Guess I can't wait too long. I just really wanted a chance to really enjoy the Osborne Lughts and eat more Food and Wine food!

Very disappointing ...was put in queue for 20 minutes ...got in and did my registration ...then started Dh's and it is sold out. I am not going to do the race without him...I guess I am out the $65 registration and $15.99 for the pin. I just did the frozen 5k on the princess weekend and did not register for awhile after it went on sale. I guess this is a much smaller race.

Oh no. I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can defer or maybe get your DH in through a travel agent???

bummer- didn't get in- I'm hoping to get in through a charity or travel agent but can't get ahold of anyone :(

Hoping you can do that. Sorry you weren't able to get in. :(

Brilliant! :worship: And specifically thanks to you for posting that link here. It made registration far less stressful than it would have been otherwise! :goodvibes

I'm still confused about that...my curiosity got the best of me and I tried it out the old fashioned way just going through the rundisney website - it took me directly to the registration page, no waiting, nada. Maybe I have a magic computer?? Which is fine, I know where to do my registering now :)
Same here. I sat at my computer a few minutes before noon, and just kept refreshing the page 'til it said registration was open. I had no issues.
Another woman on my local running group did the same, but somehow it put her in the queue, and she wasn't able to register. :(
She is going through a charity to get a bib, and is excited about that! :)

@Keels
Thanks so much for the link! Was able to get me and DD in for the 5K...our first runDisney race (actually our first ever race)!
I also have to say the runners on the DisBoards have been awesome. All of your trip reports and stories have inspired me to start running. ZellyB, Ariel84 (I think), Keels, Mickeyd...and a few others....your stories have been incredibly inspiring! Thanks so much for sharing!

Quoted the wrong thing here.

I would also try to email - that way they have a sort of time stamp and take you in order!

For anyone looking for a charity, if you choose to run for the ASPCA - please post your link here and I will personally donate to help you meet your fundraising goal!

I love this! I totally would have gone this route had I known!

Wow...the posts on the RunDisney Facebook page are unreal. So many disappointed people because only some of their group got in :(

Yeah, I had to click off the group for a while because of those posts. I know, it sucks. But if EVERYBODY that wanted to run got to buy a bib, it would take two days for the half to happen.

I am not on FB. So glad. Hard to keep up with just the boards here.

Had to get in the car and drive to work right after I registered. I can't believe it sold out in 35 minutes! Sorry to those who didn't get in :(
