We're booked at POR for 7 nights in April. We need somewhere to stay for the other 3 nights we're in Orlando. Has anyone stayed at Windsor Hills? We're looking to stay in a 3bdr town home. We'll be done at Disney, so I'm more concerned with its location. Are there restaurants around? How is the resort itself? We've only ever stayed in hotels in Orlando, so I'm a bit unsure about staying here.

Yes. We've stayed in WH twice. We loved our townhouse. It's very close to restaurants, grocery shopping etc. We rent from 5mins2disney and have had great experiences with them. The resort itself has a beautiful pool, game room, front gate security. The homes have their own splash pools which are wonderful.

There are lots of posts and positive feed back here about Windsor Hills. its one of the more popular places to stay offsite. Close to WDW. Close to Irlo Bronson hI. so lots of restaurants.

We just got back from a 3 week stay there. Everything looked great, manned security gates, pool was clean and they had a few things going on such as a Halloween party round the pool. Saw a few people in the fitness room and also taking a morning jog.

It is really close restaurants, I think our favourite this time was the Orlando Ale House :thumbsup2

I'm at wh right now. It is my first time. I was very nervous about it. There was no reason to be. The grounds are all taken care of. No long grass. You are gated in. When we first got here...my daughter said she felt very safe. If you order food you have to call security and let them kn ow.

When you first get here, the have you registered. They match it to your I'd and write your license plate down . Then you get a card with a bar code that you use to get in and out.

There are a bunch of restaurants. Thete is fast food like wendys and chick fil a. I have seen Miller's ale house , buffalo wild wings, Carrabbas, outback, Friday's, bob Evans, ihop , Perkins, dennys, and subway. That is just off the top of my head.

There is a super target which I have Been to twice..lol. There is a walgreens, publix supermarket and lots of souvenir places.

It is super quick to the parks. I even drove myself one day....lol . I know you said you were done with the parks.but just giving you an idea how close it is. Its also about 17 minutes to outlets according to my gps.

You feel like you are in your own little secured world. It is very nice! Don't be nervous about it

We stayed in a 3 bdr. townhouse at Windsor Hills for 10 nights in August. We loved it! It's very close to WDW. Even if you're done with the parks, you can easily get back onsite to visit resorts, eat or shop. There were tons of restaurants in the area. We found a Super Target not too far away to get groceries. We loved all of the space and having our own pool. I would highly recommend staying there.

We just got back from a weeks stay. We have stayed at POR, All-Stars Movies, and a Marriot Suites previously and Windsor Hills has been the best so far.

You cant go wrong with Windsor Hlls, very well run, secure and great facilities. Check our windsorhillsprivaterentals. com for a good selection of properties.

I think Windsor Hills is now by far the most popular off site rental resort.
