Windsor Hills Townhome

We stayed at Windsor Hills a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I'm in the process of booking another townhome for the end of March. I responded to one of the several emails that I received. I'm sending the deposit check this morning.

The problem is that I just realized that I never saw any pictures of this particular townhome. I received so many emails that I got mixed up. I didn't realized that I hadn't seen the pictures until my son asked me to see them. The problem is that the owner lives in another country so I'm wondering if he doesn't have pictures or a website. I've emailed him but I really need to leave for the post office soon to mail the deposit check. Should I feel comfortable staying in his townhome without seeing the actual pictures? I checked the address in the county records and it is legit.

I would wait until the owner responds. Has the owner been quick to respond in the past? I don't think 1 more day is going to matter. Just let them know you have mailed it and explain that you were waiting for their response before sending it. If they won't offer pics or give you a problem, you probably don't want to rent from them anyway.

My advice would be to not send that check until the owner gets back with you via email. More than likely you will still be interested in the rental, but I would definitely feel more comfortable viewing the pictures first. Good luck!

With indiviually owned rentals like the WH townhomes, I would not rent it sight unseen. There can be so much variability in decor. I've seen pictures of townhomes on websites that I would not stay in because they look dreary. There's no absolute guarantee that it will look like the photo, but we've had very good luck.
