Windsor Hills to Universal how long would it take?

We are able to get a great rate at Windsor Hills but we are also planning to go to Universal this year for the first time. It looks like it could take a while to get there probably on I-4 with the park traffic and commuters has anyone tried it? Thanks, Linda

Rope Drop traffic was not bad, but returning to the house traffic was always an issue in the evenings.

Oh yeah, plan on a 10-15 minute walk from the garage through CityWalk. There is a bag check before the moving sidewalks out of the parking garage.

That's good to know, DH has broken both of his feet and uses a cane now I'm hoping there's handicap parking a little closer. Linda

We did both rush hour and later returns and both are slow going. The bad part is that you have to go by all the Disney exits to get to Windsor Hills and they are usually backed up anytime after 4. The later we left the better it was, but with early park closes at Universal it makes it an issue.
