Just wondered if anyone had stayed here. I don't have a trip planned at the moment but I'm already looking for ideas. This place looks fantastic. The kids have already decided that this is where they want to stay next because of that princess room.

I've rented a house in Orlando many, many times & always LOVE it. Having your own house gives you so many options for leisure, food, and it's wonderful for the kids to have their space & you to have yours. THose kids bedrooms do look super cool. If you'll have a car & love to have lots of space, I say go for it.

Hi,

I just wanted to say that we just booked a 3bd condo....and we are so excited! We are saving over $250 from the 2bd suite we originally had reserved and getting almost double the square footage. The more I look around, the more I find people love this place. The best part is that we got to deal directly with the owner when booking. Our place has 2 twins decorated in Mickey...my boys think this is great! We can't wait. I am thinking, that after this, we won't be staying in a hotel again!

I am sure the girls will love that princess room.....but those decorated ones book very quick! Just an FYI

We are staying in one of the "Magic townhomes" in May, which are owned by the same person. I posted here a few weeks ago to see if anyone had rented from the owner before, but no responses :sad2: I was hoping to get some comments because they didn't have a guestbook or anything.

That being said, the owner (and his employee) have been very helpful and responsive. My daughter wants to look at their Web site all the time :) The Magic Palace does look amazing - as we only have four people, it was a bit much for us.

There is only 4 of us aswell. Last time we stayed in Jura Villa but there were 11 of us. That was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend Jura to anyone. But the kids were awfully impressed with the princess room here. We would definitely want our own pool so would pay for a villa but could go down to something smaller. This just looks stunning though. I've noticed that it is booked heavily for most of the year.

For the last week in April. We were planning on staying at POFQ, which I was really excited about, but after finding out about Windsor Hills, I just couldn't justify spending twice the amount for a small room! Plus by signing up for the mousesaver's newsletter and buying tickets through UC, we save another 60.00! That means the only additional cost will be parking at $11.00/day. I think I'll take the $700.00 savings in room and $60.00 savings in ticket prices and "sacrifice" the $77.00 for parking!

I'll be sure to get some picturesfor you all so you can check it out!

There is no one website for Windsor Hills as all the management companies have their own sites and most management companies handle property in many different communities. Here are a few to work through-

http://www.vrbo.com/vacation-rentals/usa/florida/central-disney-orlando/kissimmee#2568
http://www.allstarvacationhomes.com/
http://windsorhillsrent.com/
http://www.windsorhillsbest.com/index.html

I found many more than that googling Windsor Hills rentals. I am not associated in any way with any of these other than having requested availability/rates on the dates we are going to be there.

Q man......Thank you!!! Thru one of those sites I can find the magic place...lol. That sounds funny, I sound like a kid!!! Ok so the magic place is the name of a home right? I have been on the windsor hills websites and know alot of homes have names...don't remember that one.

Thanks!

We are looking at Windsor Hills as well so I'm glad you guys have good stuff to say about staying in a condo. Everyone's like stay on the property but with a toddler it just seems so overstimulating and he has to have his own room!

I am soooooo staying at the Magic Palace if I have to tie and drag another couple to Disney with us to share it with!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: ;)

We just booked the Magic Palace for Thanksgiving weekend & following week! We looked & looked at villas & after all was said & done this was the place. It was more expensive, just over $2000 for the 9 nights (this includes pool heat & taxes) but it was just perfect for our two families (there are 11 of us!)

We'll give ya'll the full report come December & how this trip compares to my free dining trip this past September.

You know that princess room they show in the Magic Palace is lined in plastic sheeting? Those walls looks pretty but its actually just a very thin wall decoration ( similar to a plastic party table cover) you can buy at a party supply store . You tape it up. But a couple things come to mind here. As pretty as it looks its not safe if that comes off the walls and into a young childs hands. Its a thin plastic with a static cling to it that could stick to anything even a face. . Second how on earth can they maintain the quality of something like that with kids in the rooms? At first I said ohhh , but then I realized what it was. If you have a young child you might want to check with the owners first about that.

Thanks for the safety tip, but the two girls staying in that room aren't that young. I actually thought this house was a good safety choice for us as both master bedrooms front the pool, as well the family room and there is pool gate around the pool. For my little swimmers, I'm much more concerned with drowning than suffocation as it is much more likely that they would jump in the pool without parental permission than rip off plastic sheeting and wrap themselves up in it. Goodness, the things we parents have to think of & plan for!

The plastic scene may be permanently attached with some sort of clear adhesive or varnish coating. Kind of like when you use Mod Podge to seal a completed puzzle together. I would be surprised if it is loose enough that it would come off easily. It is a kid's room and won't last very long if it does.

I would just ask the owner if you are concerned about it.

We have booked a 12 day stay at the Magic Palace for June 2009 but was inquiring if anyone has stayed here and how their experience was. We rented thru themagicorlandorental.com website and the pics look fabulous. My 3 girls and son can't wait and keep wanting to check the website over & over
