Windsor Hills - Spa

We are starting to look at 3BR Townhouses at WH. Some of them say that the pools have a built in spa. How does that work? Is it like a hot tub that isn't hot?

Also, I have only found 2 units that actually have a real hot tub, but I'm sure there are many out there that I just haven't come across. Does anyone know of some?

To us, the idea of a hot tub after the parks all day seems more important than the splash pool!

Windsor Hill townhomes all seem to come with a splash pool/spa which is heatable. Other resorts like Terre Verde have them too. Coral Cay Resort have the stand alone hot-tubs - not sure if there are any other resorts with them as standard but maybe some owners have added them

The splash pools at Windsor Hills are not the equivalent of a traditional hot tub/spa that you would find at most resorts, including the one adjacent to the Windsor Hills community pool. The splash pools run with a regular pool filter which allows you to adjust the rate of flow from some of the jets but it is not the same as a hot tub. I do believe I have seen townhomes without a pool with a free standing hot tub sitting where the pool would be located but I don't know how many of them there are.

That will be on Coral Cay Resort - it's all townhomes with hot-tubs

A splash pool is not the same as a spa - the pool homes have a pool and spa, the townhomes have a splash pool; there is also a spa at the community pool and clubhouse area for resort guests.

We had a pool and a spa but found that we couldn't get the spa that hot. At least not as hot as the one we have at home. The spa in the main pool area near the clubhouse was much hotter.

Some homeowners let you adjust the pool & spa heat, others keep the controls locked - might be worth asking next time you book?
