Windsor Hills Resort - Recreation Area Grand Opening Celebration

Please pass this along to other Windsor Hills homeowners and guests, all are welcome to attend!!

In case you didn't know, on Wed 11/15 at 3:30pm Windsor Hills Resort is holding a big "grand opening" celebration party for the newly finished recreation area! It is going to be held on Wed November 15th at 3:30pm in the resort. They are sending out formal invitations to homeowners via mail.

If you get a chance to go over there, please take some pictures for us and share them with us!

The area looks like it's going to be very nice and I'm sure they will throw a nice celebration party to kick it off!

It consists of brand new lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball courts, a putting / chipping green facility, and sand volleyball courts, and it located a little to the NW of the condo buildings in the resort, about 1.5 blocks NW of the pool (not right next to it like you might think).

Wish we could go, stuck here up north where it's getting cold!

Awesome, George! Thanks for posting this. When we went earlier this year, they had cleared the area, but hadn't yet started construction. Do you know if they will be renting out the equipment (racquets/balls)? We'll be back in February and will certainly take advantage of this!

I know that they will "control" use of the facilities in the sundry shop, do not know about rentals of equipment though. One of the other owners had mentioned he was buying a basketball to leave in his home ($3 at Publix). Not sure on the rest of the equipment though to be honest, sorry, perhaps they'll let us know more at the grand opening! One of our guests is planning on attending and taking lots of pictures for us so I'll report back as we find out more!

Update: I found out today from some other Windsor Hills Resort homeowners that they do in fact rent out all of the sports equipment for each of the newly finished facilities in the sundry shop! It costs approx $10 for a tennis racket... $1 for each ball. Same fees roughly apply for golf clubs and balls, basketballs, and volleyballs, these are deposit fees only, there is ZERO actual cost to use any of the facilities or the sports equipment!

If you're there in the Resort on Wed 11/15 be sure to stop by in the afternoon, Pulte Homes is throwing a big opening celebration / party, and hey, someone ought to enjoy it! (Especially since I won't be there and paid for it! LOL) Have some drinks on me please! /GRIN

Hey guys, I had a guest attend the grand opening celebration of the new windsor Hills Resort recreation area the other day (on 11-15) and he was nice enough to send me some pictures, thought I'd share since pictures are always cool! He did say Pulte was out there trying to sell the new homes they're building in the western part of the resort..hehe.
