Windsor Hills rental for 8 nights?

We decided to arrive 8 days early to our onsite vacation, so, we are now arriving on Dec 28, instead of Jan 5. We are looking to stay offsite, preferably at Windsor Hills. The site that I was going to book with only books sat to sat stays and we need a fri-sat (8 nights). Im so nervous, we haven't stayed offsite since 2001.

I have read a couple of horror stories on the Dis about some rentals and would only like to book thru a recommended site or owner. So, please feel free to recommend who you have used and tell me who to stay away from...

We are staying offsite at WH Dec-26/Jan-2. We haven't stayed offsite for many years as well. We are nervous too, but, we need to save some money this trip and the accomodations are the only way to do that. So, it's offsite or we don't go. We have a 3 bedroom condo for more than 1/2 of what it would've cost to stay at POR. You can't go wrong with that!

We stayed at Windsor Hills the past 11 days. We originally booked from Oct 24 - Nov 2. But we are from Central Jersey and when we had no power to return to we decided to remain an extra 2 days and came home last night. We now have power at home & thank God we only have slight damage from Sandy. Many of our neighbors were not to fortunate.
We had a 3 bedroom condo at Windsor Hills with our own soaker pool. We rented through All Star Homes. They were great !! They called the day after we got there to make sure everything was OK.
It was a short walk to the big pool & hot tub which were wonderful !!! Even the people in the little store by the pool were great. We plan to rent there again next year through All Star Homes.

Will be staying at WH in April for my first off-site visit...put a query into the website and had many owners respond. Went with the house and price we liked best. My sis has stayed at WH 5 times before and we visited once for the day-I loved it.

To the OP, my family was quite nervous as well, we stayed last year Nov 27 to Dec 3rd at WH. It was our first time offsite, after 5 previous times always staying onsite!

We had an excellent time and really enjoyed WH. Especially with DD just 1.5 years old at the time, the playground and pool were great when we needed a down day.

We used floridasunvacationhomes and they were great to deal with. The one story I have told before is the unit that we booked I asked how far from the unit to the pool/clubhouse area, they said 75 yards. I can tell you as an avid golfer (but not a great one haha) they were bang on with this assessment! DW was "what are you so excited about"? type of crazy look at me, and I said they were right on, 75 yards (ok I am getting off topic sorry!)

Overall we had a great time at WH for our stay. THe other part to was how easy it was to drive to all the parks, closer than i thought.

Thanks everyone, we actually found a townhouse at Reunion with great reviews and decided to stay there instead of Windsor Hills. First time staying offsite in 10 years and Im actually looking forward to it.
