Thank you for checking that out for me. I am trying not to expect problems but I planned this whole disney trip for the family and feel responsible. I keep looking at the house and thinking can it really be this nice? I am going to start thinking positive and just plan on a great trip and hope everyone has a good time!

We rented a wonder 3 bedroom townhome in March 2008 and it was a GREAT experience. I would highly recommend these owners

My family of 4 stayed in a 2-br first floor condo that was 2 buildings from the pool. Windsor Hills is very clean, the pool is awesome, and there is a small store onsite. It is gated and I felt very safe there. The clubhouse & playground looked awesome too, but even with 10 days at Disney, we didn't find time for them. The drive is very short to Disney- 10 minutes max.

I'm looking for a 2 bedroom condo in Windsor Hills for next May? What building was the condo in that you stayed at? Do they have a website? I have to find 2 units and would prefer them to be in the same building. Thanks.

I found the condo I stayed at from rec from this board- windsorhillsrent dot com. The condo I stayed at was Sunnys Condo in building 6.

We just returned from WHR for the very first time over Easter/Spring Break and just loved it. We usually stay on Disney property, and I have to say, we may not ever again. We rented a 3 bdrm, 3 ba townhome and just loved being able to have ample room and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the parks after all day. I did alot of research and looking and we ended up going through StoryTime Rental (www.storytimeorlandorental.com). It was a great experience for us and we had no problems. Elias and Tanya were wonderful on their communication, always responded to our questions quickly and in general, were just great to work with. The property of theirs we stayed in was Storytime #1, about two minutes tops from the clubhouse/pool which made it even nicer. A big thumbs up from the teens, they loved the Mickey and Minnie themed bedroom/bathroom they had and insist on going back again next March.

Even got a great tip on the boards for a back-door route to Disney. We all felt it was a shorter ride even from when we stayed on resort property.

Just take your time, look and compare. You will know when you have found the right one! Good luck.

What is the back route exactly to the parks from here? I read that it was Sherbeth Rd. but not sure where that is exactly or where it takes you into Disney. Thanks!

I never would have considered staying off-property until my school had us stay in Windsor Hills and Windsor Palms during a big school convention in Orlando. (Thru FL Sun Vacation Homes) I had no idea what to expect. I was bowled over. IT WAS FABULOUS! The units were big and very clean. It was fun to have your own kitchen and own bedroom and bath. Seriously! I am going back in 2009 for 10-days!

Im sorry, but I cant keep quiet anymore about Windsor Hills, ( at least the
condos).
We stayed there for a day and a half ( was going to be 7 days) but the condo was just down right dirty, the toilet backed up, because of neighbors
upstairs ( owners kids on spring break) and up all night!!!!! We tried our best but after someone "puked" on our screened porch from upstairs, we said enough is enough!!!!!!
Management was no help, the owner could have cared less. I really think
owners/ management were scared of the "kids" or parents because they
are/were long time Owners.
JUst becareful of who you rent from.
btw we did get 200.00 back ( big deal)

Sorry you had a bad experience but this is why we either stay in a townhouse where the only one above you is you or a pool home where you're the only one there.

Okay I will check out Treasure Cay. I am leary of this whole thing but my husband is pushing it. We are spoiled b/c we stayed at Vistana, Vistana Village and Cypress Harbour but this year we cannot get a good deal. Seems weird too b/c of the gas prices but I am sure the dollar is strong overseas and they are filling in the gaps.
