This will be our first time staying off site. We will be staying at Windsor Hills. Can anyone tell me if the Garden Grocer delivers there and if so will the resort hold the food until we arrive that night? We ar flying into Tampa and will not get to Windsor until about 9 oclock.

Also if anyone has rented from Laza properties condo #403 anything you can tell me about it would be great.

Remember, this is effectively a subdivision of privately-owned homes, not a hotel. There is a small on-site staff for managing the common areas, but I would be surprised if they had refrigeration/freezer capabilities for guest use.

When we stayed at the Bonnett Creek Resort last April, we had Garden Grocer put our groceries away in the fridge/freezer. It was really nice arriving and just getting right into the vacation. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone. I think we will order take out for the first night and do food shopping in the morning.

Hello! We are renting #403 also but not till April 2009. Funny.....and we're from Ny too..........near Corning/Elmira.

When will you be going? We are so excited to stay here. I hated paying spring break rates since we are used to August rates but what are you going to do? At least it was A LOT cheaper than onsite!! We will be staying for 9 nights.

Last year was my first off site stay and I choose WH. It was a bit hectic since I was not use to staying off site. That is the only negative was loosing a little of the Disney convenience. But in return I got more space for less money. My girls loved having their own room. We are staying again at WH in January. There is a Publix a couple of miles down on 192 on the right.
I have used Garden Grocer before but with a late arrival I'm not sure they will deliver that late.

Oh, that's great!!! Have a wonderful vacation! Let me know how you like it overlooking the pool. I'm not too worried about noise, as I always bring a fan. I'm part of the "fan club". :rotfl:

Hi all, We are back and Windsor Hills was great. The condo we stayed in was wonderful. It was very clean and neat. There were a lot of Disney themed items throughout the condo. At one point on our vacation the iron broke. I called the owner and when we got in from the parks that day there was a brand new iron waiting on the table for us. However the small children's room does not have a tv or dvd player. Just the living room, master and queen size bedroom.
Windsor grounds are beautiful also. We felt very safe staying there and were 5 mins. from Disney.Ds loved the pool but did not like the slide.
If anyone has any questions feel free to post them and I will try my best to answer them.

Just wanted you to know the pool was not noisy at all. I sat on the balcony and had my coffee in the morning and sometimes mid day.

We used Garden Grocer and they put items in our fridge before arrival. Call them and see if your management company lets them into the unit before you get there.

My family stayed at Windsor Hills in April for a week. It was extremely affordable and very nice. The location is excellent, close to parks, restaurants and grocery. We were attending an event at WWoS and the location was truly fabulous. We went to AKL one morning before heading to the parks and actually laughed a bit because we felt that the condo was equal distance to the parks. Anyone looking to do Disney on a budget should definitely consider this property.

We have stayed at LazaProperties the last 3 years. Sorry that I didn't see this sooner!:goodvibes They have 2 condos at WH. The other one is larger than 403, but both were great. I agree that pool noise was never an issue.

Happy Planning Everyone!

How do they get into your unit to drop off groceries? we are renting a townhouse and have chosen a pin number to get in. do you give garden grocer that pin? seems risky...
