windsor Hills Home Pool Depth

We want to rent 2 houses in WH next year and were wondering if anyone knows the depth of the pools in the villas? Also, most of the home descriptions list pool heat as extra. Does this mean spa heat as well? We are going in August and don't need pool heat, but the spa is not a spa without the heat!

Max depth of the pools in the pool homes is around 6 ft - they are large enough for a swim. You will need pool heat if you want the spa heated, they use the same heater.

Don't spas run off there own heat source? They are usually quite significantly more heated than the pools are.

We didn't heat the WH splash pool in July this year. My kids said it was the coldest pool in the world....just food for thought, with the screen and houses on either side, some of the pools don't get a lot of sun and may not be as warm as you might think.

Most homes in the rental resorts are 3 ft. in the low end and 5 ft. in the deeper end.

The pools at Windsor Hills have waterfall spas - you turn a switch for spa heat, this alters the valves so that all the heat goes to the spa and it gets way hotter than the pool!

In the 4/5/6 bed homes the pool depth goes up to 6ft at one end. The 3 bed townhomes just have little splash pools and I don't know how deep they go.

I definitely can't stand up in the deep end of our pool and I am 5ft 8" tall.

Spas are NOT hot tubs they don't heat up to anything like a hot tub or jacuzzi and the water flows straight out of them into the main pool. Some you can heat separately and some you can't. Some have a 30 minute timer but that was an extra so you might want to check that with the home owner.

There is a jacuzzi down at the Clubhouse.
