We would like to go next Oct. Can we go trick or treating ???

I don't think so. We were there at Halloween and didn't see anything. Disney had trick-or-treating (free) at the Boardwalk and Downtown Disney that night and some Animal Kingdom Halloween activities in the day that didn't cost any extra.

We were just in the area this Halloween and didn't see any kids anywhere trick or treating. Stay in Emerald Island and there was a party at the clubhouse for kids, and trick or treating at DTD. We went to the MNSSHP on the 30th and there was lots of people in costume and lots of trick or treating.

Go to Celebration. Some of the best trick or treating on the planet will be had there. Many current and ex Disney Imagineers live there and they get serious with their decorations. Expect a crowd.
