We are a family of 4 looking at staying at Windsor Hills for 4 nights in February.

Is there such a thing as TOO MANY choices?:confused3:rolleyes1

I'm dizzy from reading all the responses from my request on the website....how will I ever choose?!:eek::confused:

So, has anyone stayed in a condo and a townhouse? Preference? The pool won't be our deciding factor since it will probably be cool in February AND we'll be at the parks most of the time anyway.

Help anyone? Recommendations for specific condos or townhouses?

:laundy: (sorry, I just really liked this smiley) :rotfl:

Well, when we first started pricing them out, I thought we would go with a condo because it would be cheaper. Once I started getting quotes, I realized that many of the townhouse quotes were coming back the same or even cheaper than some of the condos. So we go with the townhouses. :thumbsup2

Oh, edited to add that you can have that pool heated in February (which we did when we stayed in Feb) and it was GREAT!!

You can totally swim in the pool if you get it heated!

I have stayed in both a condo and a townhouse. I don't know how the square footages compare, but the townhouse felt smaller than the 3 bedroom condo. I guess it was just the layout. The townhouse did have an extra bathroom.

The condo had a full size washer and dryer while the townhouse just had the stackable front loading smaller set. That bothered me. We had to wash more loads, and they seemed to take forever.

Next time, I think we are staying in another townhouse mainly because of the pool. If pool wasn't a consideration, it would be a toss up for us. I might favor the condo for a full size washer and dryer.

I too am trying to decided b/t the two, but we are planning on going in Oct. I think right now we are leaning towards the townhomes.

Definitely go with the townhouse and get the pool heated. You'll be able to enjoy it in February. We are a family and love the space and layout of the townhouses. And of course, the pool is the perfect size for us! :thumbsup2

We've stayed in townhomes several times and have always had a full-size washer/dryer, so I'm guessing that it's just the particular one where you stayed. Not to say that someone else hasn't also put in the smaller one, but I don't think it's the norm. There's certainly plenty of room in the "laundry closet" in the townhomes for a full-size washer & dryer.

Our preference is for the townhomes because of the splash pool and the ability to park right out front and also no upstairs neighbors.

Thanks everyone!

I think a townhouse might be our best bet...I like the idea of parking right in front and not having to lug luggage up the stairs.

Now I just have to wade through 50 emails and pick one  popcorn::

I like the convenience of parking right outside my door, not having to deal with steps/elevators to get to my unit, and the plunge pool (get it heated, you'll love it.)

I'm not a huge fan of the layout of the townhouses for more than four or five people; like most WH floor plans, the townhomes are big on bedrooms, and small on common living space. But, for four people, the townhome is perfect.
