We will have the dates for our July trip finalized within the next couple of weeks. I have literally been all over the map with accommodation choices, but I am leaning towards Windsor Hills-- specifically a 3 bedroom condo. I have not completely ruled out a Villa, either. Wondering if anyone has insight into the best area to stay (for condos). High floor, low floor, close to pool, away from pool? I have seen some condos advertised on WindsorHillsRent as being located in a Premium Building. What does that mean?

We want to be close enough to the pool to walk there, but I don't think I want to be on top of it, listening to pool noise whenever we are in the condo. I think I like the idea of being on a higher floor, but how convenient are the elevators? We will have a double stroller and lots of kids with us :-).

The elevators are great and I would definitely recommend a higher floor. We have stayed at 3 condos in WH and I enjoyed staying close to the pool. We always returned after 10pm so I can’t comment on pool noise. I am not familiar with premium buildings unless they are referring to a fireworks view. Have fun researching!

Anything but the first floor is a good choice. We've stayed on this first floor and didn't feel comfortable keeping our blinds open because everyone walking by could look into the room. Never heard of premium buildings either. We stayed in a condo overlooking the pool and it wasn't very noisy at all. We've also stayed in the building furthest from the pool, and it's a short walk to the pool. We usually go with the unit that we get the best price on, giving a slight advantage to being on a floor other than the first.

Great advice- exactly what I was looking for! And I am happy to hear that all the buildings are an easy walk to the pool. We stayed at Sheraton Vistana once and had to move units because first one we were placed in was too far to walk to any pool at the resort and no way was I packing a bunch of wet kids into a rental van. I want to avoid that at all costs! Thanks again!
