Like everyone else about to head down, I am anxiously watching the weather. I am preparing myself to a jean/sweater vacation but am hoping for some warm Florida sunshine!

Has anyone been in the last month or so and can you comment on whether the main pool at WH was heated enough to swim? I know its been cool so maybe no one was even interested in swimming but I'm hoping to get swimming in!

Thanks!

We swam in December. The air was really cold, but the water was warm. Of course it depends on what you are used to. We swim in lake Michigan, but I would never call that warm. ;)

I was there last week and it was chilly, I only saw a few people swimming. We had out own splash pool that we used a lot. Here is some pixiedust: for warm weather. We did have nice warm sunshine.

We went in April one time, it was a cold April, I think between 65-70 on most days and the pool was like a warm bath. Maybe request they turn the pool heat up if the water is too cold.

Just returned yesterday from a split stay at Windsor Hills & Carribean Beach resort. My boys, ages 12 & 13 said that the pool at WH was warmer than the Carribean Beach resort. It was cold while we were there but they did swim in the WH pool. We love WH. Next year we will stay there the whole time.

The main clubhouse pool is heated year round. Propane fired heater, so should be warm always. (The pool homes use heat exchanger systems, different principle).
