Thanks Dan, just downloaded it.

:D Thanks for the heads up. Just did this.

Thanks Dan!! :D Before I had to run restore, my settings were adjusted so that a box automatically appeared, telling me that there were updates available. I must not of set it up the same way because I wouldn't of known about this update if it weren't for you!! :earseek: Thanks!!!::yes::

Thank you, Dan. I have something set to auto-update but for some reason it didn't auto-update.

Thanks Dan. I now know how important it is to heed the advice of Norton Security when it pops up to says to update. This is the first I've been online since last Sunday. My computer was infected with several worms and the c drive had to be replaced. I had already updated this morning and the tech guy at the repair shop told me to check Norton every week to be sure I haven't missed any updates. Live, learn, and pay deeply!

Colleen, go to Control Panel, System, Automatic Updates. For myself, even before this activates, I get an email from MS, here http://www.microsoft.com/security/bulletins/alerts.mspx , as I have subscribed to their email alert, as well as the government's here http://www.us-cert.gov/ .

LUVDSNY04, just make sure you are aware that Norton's updates are not the same as Microsoft's. Each are separate and totally different, both need to be done, frequently. I update Norton daily.

Thanks, Dan!

I get automatic updates from Norton...thank goodness. When Windows has an update, I never know about it unless Dan posts something. And they take FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hate them! :worried:

Oooooooooooooooooo...thanks for those links, Dan!! Now maybe I'll get them from Microsoft! :)

Thanks for the help Dan!! :p I adjusted my settings and subscribed to the email alert from Microsoft! :bounce: You're the best!! :sunny:

Thanks Dan, you reminded me to check, and sure enough automatic update had left me a message! You are so good about reminding us all!
