Window Decorating with markers

I had read SOMEWHERE about window decorating... I bought "Crayola® Washable Window Markers" that are made to write on windows (glass). They wash off with a paper towel and a small amount of water VERY easily. I thought it'd be fine, especially if we left the package out so Mousekeeping could easily see what we were using... but on a resorts thread (we're staying at POP this trip) they think we'd get in trouble and possible be charged a cleaning fee. Anyone have experience with these at POP or anywhere else?

I was thinking of doing that too...until I read that thread. I decided instead to go with window clings. I think they would be less likely to charge a cleaning fee for clings. I have printed some GREAT cling with super DISigns from the great DISigners her on the board. I can't wait to get my window put together. I think the problem is that many people do not clean up their mess so they punish those of us that do. I wouldn't do the markers. JMO.
