I have an almost new luxery 40 foot class A. I'm fifteen minutes away from the Fort, so it makes it easy for us to just make a reservation and move on down the road. We're able to stay there as much as we want because of the 50% discount year round. I'll be there for a week in May and July so far. And when I'm staying there, I can still work because I work, but it doesn't feel like a job, at WDW.
So don't wait for the lottery, because it's not going to happen. Just take the steps necessary to put you where you want be with what you have. It's possible if you really want it. It takes a little fortitude, persistence, and a reasonable amount of money. Don't wait to long, time flys. If we can do it, almost anyone can.

I guess it depends on what you want to fill that short life with....since most of us are lovers of the camping lifestyle...thats why we unite on a CAMPING FORUM...thats what most of us would choose to do to increase(not improve) the quality of our lives. Most of us have very pleasing lives, and would just like to be able to do MORE of what we already know we love!

Sounds like you are living my dream. We are seriously considering selling our house and moving to Florida in about a year. I would love to work at Disney. Some say I'm crazy, but it's a dream of mine. Hopefully it will come true. And I don't need a new MH. I love my Disneyfied Pace Arrow.

So you have just come into a ton of money. Lets call a ton more than $10,000,000. Perhaps you won the lottery or got an inheritance or maybe sold your company to the mouse. Now I know most of you already have plans for just such an occurrence. So my questions are as follows.
What RV are you buying? Why?
When are you going to the fort? Maybe Crowds, weather, parties need to be considered.
Lastly how long are you staying?
Just a fun topic heading into this weekend.

I would buy a really sweet Airstream trailer, some form of diesel tow vehicle (maybe I would get a custom truck made with the best parts of all the big three truck makers and then add a Toyota accelerator) and head to the Fort for mid June, back to MA for late June, then back to the Fort for August.

Buy a diesel pusher large enough to have a motorcycle lift on the rear for a big Harley, then just add my 4wd Dakota with the golf cart on the bed & stay at FW at least 6 months out of the year.

Also buy both my kids a starter RV setup, be it a good used MH or TT & tow truck.

I would start buying RV plots maybe 3 -5 plots of land bare and RV ready across the US. There are several places I already have in mind. I would also pay off my p's and inlaw mortage and I have always said I would build an ice rink on campus at KU. Maybe I would fork over the first $500K or Mil in starting funds. If it was $100M, then I am building the who thing.
