I'm almost done packing and keep going back and forth on the outerwear issue. The kids are 7, 3 and 1. Just can't decide. hoodie seems more comfy and cozy for snoozing in the stroller. Windbreaker might fend of a light rain and of course wind. Frankly, the lows are looking to be 65 which will likely be at 3am, so I probably need nothing. At what point do people start wanting something warm? Being from the North, I think even 65 won't be too cold...of course it's been a long time since we've seen that temp, I forget....

What do you do?

I think you are much more likely to need the rain protection than the cold protection. A wind breaker would be perfect. If it really get cold, thats a great excuse to buy a new sweat shirt!!!!

Have a blast.

Rather than a hoodie I bring lightweigh polarfleece jackets for my kids. They are warm even when wet.

I'd go with the windbreaker. It'll keep them warm if that's necessary and will be more comfortable than a plastic rain poncho if that's necessary.

It is cold down there..... I just had a friend return and they wore their fleece for about 3 days.. It got up to 58 yesterday so her boys took a swim... That was the warmest all week... Bring the windbreaker.. As they also had rain.. Lots of it...
