Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a type of windscreen for my camcorder.
This is my camcorder:

I've noticed that I get a lot of wind when taping anything outside, and I was wondering if anyone knew a way of blocking the wind noise. As you can see, it doesn't have the kind of microphone that sticks out, so how would you go about blocking the wind noise?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

A stick-on windcutter should do the trick. Here's one I found in a quick google search:

I bought one for my Sony camcorder years ago, from Amazon. I'm not 100% sure if this is the same company, but it looks pretty similar.

I'm not related to, affiliated with, promoting, or receiving any payoff from the above site! Just searched for 'stick on windcutter' because I know I bought one years ago.

Hope that helps!

Thanks, It looks interesting. I'll have to check it out a little more.
I wonder if you could use a piece of cotton or other porous material in the same way. Just adhere it onto the microphone. I'll have to fool around with different ideas, but if nothing works, at least I have a link now for something.
Thanks again.
