Your picture tour of World Showcase was fantastic! I love all of the topiaries. I can't say it enough that I soooo wish it had been going on when we were there.

I especially like the picture of Aladdin copying Ashton.

One day, you need to tell everybody that you and Ashton are doing World Showcase while they do something else. That way, you can take your time and really visit the countries.

I'm so glad you and Ashton found the trains. Aren't they cool? It's easy to miss them because people are always milling around in front. I'm glad Ashton enjoyed them!

Thanks! Stephanie That is a great way to do it when you have the extra days to cover the parks at a slow pace and Lillian will LOVE the dance party! I can almost guarantee that one! You must take Lillian on te monorail maybe when you are going from Epcot or MK to one of the resorts for one of your ADR's (I don't remember your ADR's at the moment but I'm sure you have at least one ) you guys are going to have so much fun and it is almost time for you guys already!

I hope we can make the dance party--it looks like so much fun. Unfortunately right now it is only on Monday but we have an early morning on Tuesday at BBB so it might not work out this trip. There is always next time hopefully.

Ashton looks so happy at Nemo and Friends! I am looking forwarda to taking Lilian there--I think it will be a favorite. DH and I have not seen the updates or ridden the ride either so it will be something new for us.

I love the F&G festival, I sure hope we can go back someday to see! So beautiful!

Love the F & G pics. I think we took the same route 2 days later and even saw the same Jasmine. Your Aladdin was too funny! We stopped at the trains as well. The kids had so much fun "chasing" them. I never feel like we spend enough time in WS. Even with 2 days! You and Ashton definitely need a day to explore just you two.

over glad you have are having a good time with us. Most of the characters that Ashton was able to meet were really great...but, Aladdin was a hoot!

Katie, I know what you mean we were planning a beach trip for July but that seems to be out even trying to go out to St. George Island seems to far fetched at this point. I would love to be in WDW just for the waterparks and swimming pools...

Hey! Leanne the topiaires were so pretty...I have a few more coming up from our last day...I have always enjoyed WS and each time go through it dragging Danny and Dad along. When we went in 2001 we were homeschooling at the time and I had planned a great geography tour with the kids. Danny and my Dad did everything in their power to corrupt those poor children.
But, I have a plan for next time...Danny is going to be able to drink around the world; I bet he loves WS after that
with your new AP's and the DVC you should be able to see WS at all the different times of the year...

Hey! Chris we did not see as many characters as I would have liked; but, we did see a good number of them Ashton loved the trains! I bet if we would have allowed him to he would have stayed there for an hour or more

Thanks! Ashley we will be sure to plan it out one day...I miss seeing American Adventure (I think that is the correct title) I have not seen it since 2001)...I think our plan of return is going to be Dec 2012 as it looks right now.

I am having a hard time with the summer time blues...
I think not being able to plan a summer trip to the coast, my sister's girls having to leave and the oldest did not want to go home, and having three little ones six days a week...is all getting to me. I am so far behind on threads that I follow and feel bad that I have fallen behind. I had planned to catch up this past weekend and ended up just sitting around the house with Ashton; it so hot that I didn't even feel like going in the pool Saturday (I think it had more to do with the fact that Danny had to work and I had no plans for the day)...

Sunday we ended up riding out to MS for an early dinner and some shopping for Danny which was a nice change from the usual...we had talked about going out to the coast for an impromtu trip this coming weekend. But, by the time we had gotten home had heard the oil was all the way to Panama City Beach and if Danny can't go in the gulf he does not want to go he says he has a pool in his own backyard.

I promise to be back with an update; I had to open another photobucket account and I thought I had uploaded the next set of pictures...but I had not! so I'll be back with it soon

Ashton's birthday is in a few weeks and I had been debating since before Christmas to get him a Leapster2. Well, they came out with a new game system (Leapster Explorer) and I really did not know what to get him?!?

Leapfrog was offering 20% off and another 15% on top of that with the Leapster2 system. The new game system does not have many games for it as of yet and the Toy Story game (which is the primary game I wanted) is not available until almost august.

So, I decided to start him with the Leapster2 game! Just ordered it...he has the messanger bag, the charging station, the handheld Leapster2 system, TS3, Cars, and Go Diego Go game coming for right over $100 I could not pass it up! So, I hope he likes the system like everyone's kids seem too!

We are doing a Toy Story themed party; but, I have not decided if we are just doing cake with family and buying an Audubon Membership (this is for the Zoo and Aquarium--with $5 tickets for the new Insectiurm (sp) and discount tix for the Imax) or a party. I think the membership...that way it's a year of fun...

I'll be back tomorrow or late tonight to work on the update!
