Actually, that's not the right part of the address to be looking for when scouting for phishers. It's good that you know to look, but ebay has many www servers, so www2, www3, etc. are random and you will get them quite often. What you need to look for is the ebay.com, that there is nothing between the two of them, like :

ebay2.com
ebay.2.com

Those two would be phish sites. Good eye though!

You can just register once, but buying something, or finding the hidden Mickey's daily provides you with extra entries -- not that I read it THAT closely - so just register once.

I agree it's probably a scam. Ebay doesn't start with www2.ebay.com. It starts as www.ebay.com. The number 2 is your first clue right there that it is fake. How sad.

Really? It was my first clue you didn't know what you were talking about.

It's just a contest, and the stay is a prize.

There probably won't be a link to find the hidden Mickeys until the start of the contest, which starts on Nov. 24th (Friday).
