managed to swap my keypad for one that works (the lady looks unlikely to be a silver surfer!)

Still stuck here in hospital. no consultants as its the weekend and no news. Wed night marked 3 weeks of me being ill and after 2 diff antibiotics and steriods i felt i was almost as bad as i did to start with and just unalbe to wait weeks for an outpatients appt so we came in to a&e.

i think they think its a rare strain of pneumonia but they seem unsure. they also talked about dvt and tb and keep asking about the holiday.

no idea how long i'll be in for but i feel rough and my temp and blood pressure are all over the place. dec's christening is next weekend so im hoping i will be ok. as we are not native Coventry folks so many people have booked hotels so im determined to be there though the most i have managed recently is sitting in a chair.

g is doing ok there is only 1 hr visiting a day and no kids though i was able to see them in the corridor last night.

thanks for your good wishes on this and my bday thread. and thanks for your text Kaylee. now i a little more human ikeep you updated.

no Kaylee, I've not heard anymore, he sounded a bit frazzled in his PM, he also said that he hadn't a clue what he was doing when sending a PM, his first time on the DIS, bless.

Bless him indeed. i was so touched (and impressed) when he told me that he
'd sent a pm.

my mum has been helping out and my dad has been up as have dhs folks. our friends have been great but everyone seems to be away for the weekend. dec is obsessed with toy story and ratatouille so i think they have been watching them. he is far better round the house than me and has until this week been doing the rounds of toddlers etc (half term)
