Just got an e mail from them that they are closing the place Nov. 12 I think. They said they couldnt support the upkeep etc.
We have stayed there over the years,but last Aug. we stayed next door at the newer hotel, forgot the name.
We did eat at the breakfast buffet and they didnt even have a banana or a sticky bun, people had to keep asking for things etc.
Then I read on Trip Advisor that someone was saying they had bed bugs in their room etc.
Guess it was a matter of time, but sad to see it go.
They are demolishing the whole older place but keeping the golf course.
Sad to see it go, anyone else??

I thought the grand-daughters of the original owners took over? At least that's what I was told when I called earlier in the year. Our former pastor and wife have known the orignal owners since it first opened (way before the expansion). I'm very surprised and saddened to hear this.
