Did anyone watch? We LOVED it! Super fun and had some great moments. There was one awesome character arc (I hated this character at first but by the end really liked them) and all of the characters were fun.

I sure hope it gets a season 2!

I loved it too - it's so fun! At first I thought it was kinda weird - but, Willow is a bit of a weird movie anyway. After the finale, I can just say that it was GREAT - still weird, but good weird. I am looking forward to the addiitonal seasons teased at the end. There hasn't been a ton of buzz though, so I hope they do make them.

I saw that tease and am hoping for the best!!

I liked it, but it had some head scratching things like it couldn't settle on a tone and what was up with that music? I'll tune in for the next 2 seasons, but I hope they settle things down.

The ending made me wonder if they're going to follow some of the book finally.

Yeah, for me, the music is what sets it apart from other fantasy projects. It just didn't take itself too seriously, which I really think was part of the charm. There are plenty of other straight high-fantasy shows out there.

I haven't seen the last episode yet, but the series was getting better over time. I was surprised to see Kevin Pollack return! Last week's episode was great, felt more in keeping with the original movie.

The music was hit or miss for me. Being so used to that James Horner score of the movie, which has been around for decades, it's odd to return to the same world and now it's all rock songs. I'm expecting Celtic flutes, but ok, Hurdy Gurdy Man is cool too. I heard that this move was inspired by Game of Thrones- though the GoT series had no prior established film. It's a minor gripe...

That said, I did kind of like how that one episode closes with a shot of Nockmaar, and Enter Sandman starts playing- even though it was a cover. We really don't see enough fantasy movies/shows with Metal music.

I loved the original film and plan to view the series. I hope it measures up!
