Williamsburg, VA advice?

I booked the same package you're looking at for our trip in May.

I chose a one bedroom suite at Embassy Suites. There's four of us going, so I got the two double beds in the bedroom and there's a sofa bed in the livingroom. The bedroom is separate from the livingroom, something we wanted.

We get free breakfast and a nightly manager's reception.

It was cheaper, going through Busch Garden's site, than it was booking it separately.

I'm not sure exactly where the hotel is located.

Good luck and have a great time!

The Embassy Suites is right behind a shopping Center that had a K-Mart, Mongolonain BBQ, Pizza Delivery, and Drug Store. I have also stayed there several times. It very nice and the cooked to order breakfast is pretty good. It is off the bypass road, very near where it rejoins 60, and very easy to miss the first time. You are on the more difficult side of the street to turn (you go left to get to CW and BG/WCUSA) but if you use the shopping center road there is a light (It one of the few hotels on that side of the street we consider during busy season). There is also a min-golf palce and a dairy queen(?) right there. The hotel has always been very clean. This thread is making me realize where I must have spent too much time in the last 25 years!

Actually, Embassy Suites was one that I had looked at also, but I'm not really sure why this wasn't one of my final selections. (I feel like I've checked out so many online I'm losing track.) I'm going to go back and look at this one again. I'd love to hear your opinion about it when you get back!

Also, Vavasmon -- I'm glad you've spent so much time there over the past 25 years! You have some very helpful information!

Thanks for the information! It's good to know I picked a decent hotel this time.

LtlTee...I think Trip Advisor has some feedback on this hotel. I'll let you know how it was when we get back.
