Looking for an upper floor room at Wilderness with a good view of fireworks. Any suggestions?

We stayed in room 6012 and had a fantastic view of fireworks and the castle. We we go back to WL, I'm going to ask for a room as close to 6012 as I can get!

Let's just cover all the price ranges. The beforementioned rooms are Concierge (7048 - most expensive), Woods view (5032 - good view for the price) and let me add to the list room 6060 (standard view - least expensive). The only drawback to this room is the view of the service area below and the CM parking to the left. But if you focus on straight ahead, you will see the castle at all times and the fireworks at night. And if you look to the right, you can see the otter pond. Not a bad room to have a great view and save money.

Oh, but room 6060 does have bunk beds and a queen, not the two queen beds. Kids love the bunk beds.

I stayed in room 5034 woods view and had the most perfect view of the fireworks, magic kingdom castle, monorail and contemporary. You also get the view of the otter pond directly below and if you are lucky, you get to see the playful otter!

The room next to me 5032 has the exact same view.

Wishing you PD & Magical Moments.

Good point, Ratpack. Room 6012 is a woods view room. We had actually reserved a standard view room but were upgraded at check-in (we didn't ask, just a nice surprise). Someone said they give upgrades so that the next time you stay there you'll pay the extra money to get the same thing. Well, it worked - we loved our room so much we'll pay for a woods view next time hoping that we'll get a similar room!

thanks for all the input everyone. this is my first post. there is lots of good info. on this web site. where can i find a room map layout of wl?

CAn anyone tell me how far WL room 7048 is from the elevator?
Dealing with mobility issues here.
Thanks!
Terri

Tek... It is kinda far to tell you the truth . 7048 is facing the castle and the Monorail with the Otter pond of to the right of it . I would go to the WL thread . They have a layout of everything. They really helped me along when I went there .

SSLANGS... I think if you can do the 7th floor you should. It is not the best conceirge as far as food and stuff ( most things were very good ) But the service you get there from the staff makes it worth every last extra cent. I took my nephew who is 3 and he thinks we should all "Serve" him now !

Have a great trip no matter what you choose !

Wow, you all have found some great rooms!
Does anyone know of a room with a king bed and one of these great views?

The CM at CRO said you have to reserve a woods view for king beds, which I don't mind paying the extra $, since this is a trip without the DDs.

Thanks for all your help - we are looking forward to our first WL stay!:hyper:
