Will you skip hollywood studios on your next trip?

We will be going there two days. It is my kids' favorite park, although the youngest will miss LMA.

We skipped it just for that reason. I prefer waiting until attractions are built/refurbished. Perfect excuse to make another trip!

Nope, we won't skip it. My husband's favorite ride is TSMM and I can't deprive him of that ;) My DD13 and I love GMR. And we really like eating at 50's PTC. I'm also excited to see the Star Wars fireworks show, not a huge fan of the movies but I love the music. I'm hoping the closures will keep people away but that appears to be wishful thinking...

We won't skip it...although there is only 5 things we want to do and eat at Sci-Fi so it will be a half day and then go to Disney Springs that day. AK use to be a half day but hopefully by Sept they will have the night time affair up and running (and last trip we literally got rained out due to the hurricane, so we missed what was in our plans) now we plan on making AK all day.

I think that Fantasmic and Symphony in the Stars are worth a day at HS. Both are very impressive- and the new additions to the Star Wars fireworks will make them even better. We are also looking forward to Minnie's Seasonal Dine for Halloween. My older daughter loves ToT, Star Tours, and Indiana Jones. And while we met Kylo Ren and Chewy on our last trip, we would like to meet them again. They were fun and unusual.

1/2 day park for my crew. We have it scheduled for one night so we can hopefully see the new Star Wars closeout show.

Same here. My DD6 (7 in 18 days, yes she's counting down) has recently become a Star Wars fan. She rode Star Tours on our trips last year and the year before but hadn't seen any of the movies yet. Now she's seen some of them, so I know she'll be into all the new Star Wars offerings when we go back next year.

Side note, am I the only person who kind of misses the Backlot tour? My parents & I were chosen to be in the show back in 2011 so I have some nostalgic love for it.

I LOVED the Backlot Tour. I wish they would bring it back.

We aren't going to skip it, but we'll make a half-day of it rather than a full day.

Went Monday, all the Star Wars stuff is really cool. I could have spent all day just watching it.

It has always been my least favorite park, but we do still enjoy RNRC and Fantasmic. It's probably now a 1/2 day park for us.

We are doing 2 half days on our next trip. We enjoy Toy Story Mania, ToT, Fantasmic, Star Tours and Rock N Roller coaster. We also enjoy meals at Sci Fi Diner and Prime Time. Also enjoy having a few nice drinks at Brown Derby lounge and with the rumours about the ToT lounge, there is definitely enough to fill 2 half days for us there :)

Most of the stuff that's gone wasn't highlights for our family anyway. We'll still be going by on our trip later this month.

We are still going. Some of our favorite rides are at DHS, so I can't imagine skipping the park altogether on any trip. We love ToT, RnRC, Toy Story Mania and Great Movie Ride. Those are can't misses for us! We will also have my 18 month old Niece with us for her first trip, and she loves all things Disney Jr., so the Disney Jr. show is a must this trip! We are planning on doing the meet & greets for her as well. So it looks like we will still get done a pretty good amount as we usually do.

No, there's still been a lot changed or added since we've been there and we didn't get to everything last time. Still a lot of restaurants to try too. Plus we'll be passholders when we go next so we can just hop there after spending the day somewhere else. I'm hoping they'll still have the villian event and some kind of star wars fireworks by sep too.

Although it's our least favorite park, ironically some of our favorite rides are there, so we will go. Last trip we missed Fantasmic, so we have to see it this time. We are also big Star Wars fans, and Sorcerer Mickey is a must meet for me every trip! This time we are only doing a half day though, morning and lunch in Epcot and then over to DHS for the rest of the evening. I don't think the construction has a huge impact on our half day decision, but more to do with we like other parks a bit better.

As others have already said, not a lot has gone away, some of which was already gone like the backlot tour (and yes I miss it, loved it). I will miss wandering around some of the back streets, which was my favorite thing to do but I wouldn't skip the park for anything. I'm don't even ride Star Tours (can't do any 3D type rides) or RNRC (that thing gives me a headache from my poor little head bouncing around) and if my son is not with me I don't ride TSMM. That only leaves two rides, ToT and GMR and I still spend at least 3/4 of a day there. I love the atmosphere and even though they are moving away from the old Hollywood feel, I still enjoy it. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan but even I enjoyed walking around the exhibit they now have and playing with the Storm Troppers that wander around (got chased by one cause I told him these weren't the droids they were looking for).

My evil plan has come full circle and I have created a new star wars fan in my daughter. We will be there before rope drop to sign up for Jedi academy. I am over the moon that it appears we will be able to see the fireworks there too.
