Even the early parties sold out before "day off". I was there on the first party (9/30) and the next (10/3) and both mornings there signs saying it was sold out.

So, if you really want to go on a specific day, get tickets before you go!

We were there for the Oct 7 (Friday) and the party was not sold out that night. I remember thinking it was odd that the Oct 3 party (monday) was sold out and the Friday night wasn't

Oh NUTS! I wonder if that means that first couple party days are more crowded?? Or perhaps everyone has gotten wise to Friday nights being busier so they go mid-week and now mid-week has become the busy times. GAH! We had planned to do Tues 10-2. Just hoping I won't regret picking the 2nd party date!!

The first party usually sells out first, then Halloween night. The midweek parties are usually the ones with AP discounts, so they attract the AP holders more than Fridays and they need to be purchased in advance to get the discount I believe.

I was just checking the WDW website. I wanted to check the prices of the tix for MNSSHP, and noticed that some of the dates for the parties do not go on sale until midnight of that particular day. Is this a normal thing? Also, we have base tickets for MK Halloween day, and were able to make a reservation for one of the restaurants for 6:30pm without needing to prove we had tix for the night event.

Yes, you can have an ADR for up until 7 pm (don't know about 7 pm itself) without needing a MNSSHP ticket. A CM may escort you out of the park after you've finished eating.

Well, that clears up a lot! Thank you! I really don't want to feel like I've committed a crime for eating in the park the night of a party and be escorted out. That would be creepy!
