More than likely, yes. As a person with limited mobility it will reduce the amount of walking I need to do. If I visit during a busy time, I also see it as a timesaver giving me more time to enjoy the Parks. That's worth $10 per day to me.

I have no idea if I will ever use it or not. I certainly won't knock it until I try it. I normally only get one or two fast passes per day anyway. Sometimes, I don't get any because I've been on the rides so many times, I just don't care about them that much.

I would gladly pay $10. to cut a line for just one ride. So, who knows. There may be a day where I really want a fast pass and for some reason can't get to the paper machine. I do like the idea of choosing a return time. I have an AP, so I'll see what they offer me.

I think the unlimited photopass downloads alone is worth $10 to me. I can't justify the price of photopass right now.

Possibly.

We're from Phoenix. Last year we had deluxe annual passes and made repeated visits. I also had a signature pass for the photopass pictures, totally worth it for me. With repeated visits I don't know if we would have needed MaxPass. The regular fast pass system worked fine and we rode everything we wanted, when we wanted....except for Peter Pan. (not that I want PP to have a fast pass, I don't think it would help that ride).

We won't have annual passes again for the next few years but we have a short trip planned this year. I may buy the MaxPass to try it out.

I'm leaning toward yes, but I want to hear more first-hand experience once it actually rolls out. If it's a disaster I obviously don't want to shell out my money for it. Part of my "yes" is that PhotoPass is included, which makes it seem more worthwhile. I also like the idea of redeeming a FastPass, and then being able to grab another one on the app without running across the park. This is especially true for park hopping.

As somebody who is fortunate enough to live close by and have an AP there are several factors to consider here for me.
I think #1 I am waiting to see the cost, or if it will be included in certain AP levels and what the cost of those will be.
#2 is that I still like to go on rides and obviously this is a major convenience, to be able to secure your next FP from anywhere in the park via the app, so I am interested
#3 for me to consider would be because I do like to go after work, is the logistics behind how the FPs will be allocated. Will they be taking measures to be sure that all FPs for all rides won't be gone by noon such as reserving some to be released later in the day or hourly.
#4 is also related to the allocation of FPs as well, and that's if they will reserve a certain # for paper FPs and a certain # for digital. This would make it less of an advantage to get the MaxPass.
#5 for me is to monitor the FPs for awhile upon introduction of MaxPass and see how fast they are going. I don't think I would purchase MaxPass until I could actually have evidence that there will be MaxPasses available for me in the evenings, or a reason to not get the MaxPass as I stated above is if there remains paper FPs into the evening as well. Why would I buy MaxPass if I wouldn't be able to get any FPs anyway because they are all gone, or if I could just get them the old fashioned way.

Sorry for the poorly organized response I have a lot of conflicting thoughts about this!!!!!

We will see. I don't go until June so I'm hoping there are some reviews before then. There are only 2 of us so $20 a day to get photos and digital fp isn't that bad. I'm the runner and while I don't mind I would also budget for something that made me not have to run as much.

No, absolutely not. I too am frustrated by the nickel and diming. $40 per day for my family of 4, and we vacation at Disney twice per year, so roughly an additional $240 per trip. The Max Pass, Preferred Parade Seating/WOC Dessert Party, etc. I already spent a fortune buying DVC and AP's. So while I am committed to vacationing at Disney with my family it is getting very frustrating with all the up charges. When will it stop. I've voiced my opinion on their Disney Parks Blog paged where they announced the Max Pass. If we don't voice our opinions I have a feeling it will never end.

I don't know. As a signature AP holder, I need to wait to see what they charge AP holders, if anything before deciding. Obviously if it's included in my level AP, yes I'll be using it.

I forgot to mention as well that the nickle and diming of this does rub me the wrong way, and upon reading the rumors of digital FP I Never even considered the possibility that it would not be free. I just feel almost backed into a corner as somebody who goes in the evenings: will MaxPass be the only way for me to get FPs at night? Will the paper ones be gone? Will they all be gone? I just don't know and only time will tell.

Eh, probably not. We just don't use that many FastPasses as it is and we already get photo downloads with our APs. I just don't see it really making that much of a difference in how the park works.

I think if the paper ones are gone, the digital ones will be gone too. And since FPs will be easier to get than ever before, I doubt they will last as long and I wouldn't be optimistic for evening FPs.

I don't think there is a yes/no answer for me. As an AP holder I go often, so I imagine that some days I would use it and some days I would not, depending on my plans. I also want to wait and see what they end up doing for APs.

Yeah I'm afraid of this too. I was thinking in the case that they completely separate the allocation of digital and paper FPs- a certain number for each and the timing of them being unrelated- that there might be a possibility for there to still be paper FPs in the evening.

No. I definitely will not buy into it.

I already get Photopass downloads which I never had a real interest in anyways. I only take advantage since it's included in my pass. Although I have enjoyed getting my race photos. That said, I have no interest in a digital FP that requires my phone to book. I actually enjoy being a FP runner. I might feel differently if we were getting magic bands, but that's the only thing from the FP+ system I enjoyed. Paper FPs also have the advantage of being able to give them to a random person if you realize you can't use them. I can't do that with a FP attached to my pass.

That doesn't mean I'm not curious what their plan is for APs. I know I won't pay for anything extra, of course, but I am curious the details since they've said so little.

OK. We won't know whether there are 2 separate buckets of FPs until this rolls out and anecdotal stories help piece it together. But I have to think having 2 separate buckets would be fraught with all sorts of issues. Like if the digital program is too popular and those run out before the paper ones run out, people who paid for the digital might be (rightly) a little upset.

I don't know. This will make me savor my February trip that much more, because I highly doubt that this will roll out in the next 22 days. I do have a June trip that may or may not be effected though. I am planning on converting to WDW almost exclusively though after this year, but that has more to do with family moving near the parks that I will be visiting anyway.

Yep you are totally right!! I will certainly have my eye on that app once it rolls out :magnify:
