Will you be my bridesmaid? HELP ME CHOOSE!

Hi Ladies,

A while back when I first told my friends I wanted to have my wedding in Disney they all laughed and asked if they would be wearing Disney princess costumes as their bridesmaid dresses. I said no, they will not be wearing costumes lol.

This gave me a cute idea for how to ask them to be in my wedding. Baking is one of my favorite things to do ( I am also really good at it). I decided that I am going to make cookies in the shape of a dress and decorate them with the phrase "Please say yes to the dress". Along with the cookies I am going to include a Disney princess inspired apron. I asked each girl who their fav female disney princess or heroine was (but they have no idea why).

I found some cute aprons on etsy for Cinderella, Belle, Alice & Minnie (which I will show in my upcoming PJ) , but I am having a tough time choosing which Ariel apron to buy, and I thought the Disbrides would be the best people to ask! Which one do you think is the cutest/true to character for Ariel?

I agree that 1 is the most in keeping with the actual character, but I personally like 3 the best. I just think it is the prettiest.

I like #3. #1 is probably truest to the character, but I think 3 is prettier and less OVERTLY Ariel. If the person doesn't really LOVE Disney like you do, might be better to be a little more subtle...

I also like #3. The top on #1 is closer but it overall it looks like a maid's outfit. 3 looks like a pretty Ariel apron.

Thank you all so much for your input! It is so tough trying buy something for your bridesmaids when you cant ask your best friends what looks better! LOL

I found an etsy seller who is going to work with me on the design. I asked her to combine the top of #1 (which is her design) with the bottom of #3. so we shall see what she says.

So I am also trying to choose which belle apron to get for my MOH. I like the provincial belle better because it looks most like her character in the movie and I feel like it is difficult to replicate her yellow gown for an apron (without spending tons of money too). However, my co-worker said that provincial belle looks more like a regular apron and that I should get the yellow one. My fiance likes provincial belle.

Do the blue. But, I am always partial to the "pre-princess" looks. Belle has a better look before the palace and Briar Rose has way cooler clothes than Aurora.

Thank you all for your help! I went with the blue belle apron. I just ordered all 5 aprons (1 ariel , 1 alice, 1 rapunzel, 1 cinderella, 1 belle) for my bridesmaids and the etsy seller will be making them this weekend. I will be posting them to my PJ (that I will start this weekend) next week when I complete the packages!
