I'm going to do it. We are going for our first ever (and depending on how it goes maybe our only) Xmas trip. We have the ddp and actually have an extra ts credit to use. I'm not happy about the changes but if it makes getting a popular place like Le Cellier easier, I'm okay with that.
I voted I was going to until I saw the new information...My answer can change once the official information is released...We wanted to eat at TI for lunch...I do not know what the menu will include or the price of that yet or even if they will offer a lunch time this year...I will not use 2 credits...We are DVC members, not on free dining, and paying full price for every thing...We need to use our credits the best we can...2 credits for this is not use them the best we can for our family...We need to wait to see the official news before making a final decision.
If I were going in December this year, I would pay for the CP package. Its expensive but so isn't a trip to Disney! And I like having a guaranteed seat and not having to line up way in advance of the show. And the show is a family favorite.
But we are going in Sept/Oct for our fall trip this year. So no CP for us.
Although I don't especially like the changes, we could not imagine eliminating it from our schedule -it is such an emotional and beautiful event! I definitely would pay for the performance alone if it became necessary.
