If you get questioned about your TV viewing habits? I mean, I am a reasonably intelligent woman. I have an MBA, I am a professional, I am a wife and mother...

And I am ADDICTED to America's Next Top Model!!! It is such a mindless show and I love it!

There...I admitted it...isn't that the first step toward healing...I can get better now...

I am going to go make sure Wednesday's episode is Tivo'd. :rotfl2:

I think sometimes we have to watch mindless shows just to escape from the reality of being a wife, mom, and working professional both in-home and out of the home workforce.. AS a stay-at-home mom..if I didn't get a chance just to watch mindless tv every now and and again I'd think they'd have to commit me to a rubber room!!! It's an escape...
But that just my honest opinion!

I think I'm pretty safe (24, Lost)...

...however, I DID watch one episode of So NoTorious... :rolleyes1

Okay where do I begin :rotfl: ...
Monday's used to be Fear Factor
Tuesday American Idol and Miami Ink,
Wednesday - American Idol
Thursday - Survivor
Then throw in Anything that includes Celebrities, Skating, Dancing, Cooking...
I definitely go for all the heart warming reality shows, EMHE, Three Wishes, Miracle...
Can't forget the trainwrecks, like The Batchelor/ette, Who wants to marry my Dad, Mr. Personality, Joe Millionaire...
Do I need to go on, the list is endless! :teeth:

ETA: How could I forget my favorite Big Brother (3 nights a week) :cool1: :rotfl:

Okay, I need a life! :rolleyes1

OOOH!!! I live for Big Brother in the summer!!!! LOL
Either the first or second season there was a woman from Columbus, IN..not far from where I grew up! That was hilarious!!!!

I havent seen the top model show before but sadly I do watch other "no brain needed" shows...lol

I just love to watch Jonathan on Blow Out on Bravo channel and now they have a new show that follows it called The Real Desperate Housewives, about these artsy fartsy rich women who live in this big fancy gated community in LA I believe. They are just so shallow, its too funny.

I also love watching TuckerVille on TLC, the show about Tanya Tucker. I'm not a big fan of her songs but the show is funny, though that boy of her gets on my nerves.

Ok, I think those are all of my guilty pleasures. At least the ones I am prepared to admit to right now..LOL :rotfl2:

Grey's Anatomy (seriously!) :teeth: ooh, McDreamy :teeth:
24
House
Next Food Network Chef
American Idol

oops, forgot Iron Chef (ok, I can't believe I admitted that one! :rotfl: )

:rotfl: very exciting TV life!!

Ok, I'll fess up....

Desperate Housewives...
Grey's Anatomy (McDreamy, anyone?)
CSI (any of them)
Out of Practice
Big Brother (in the summer)

DH enjoys Two and a Half Men!

Ok, KAMommy, you know most of mine, but here is my list so I can just put it out there in public  :

CSI (all of them. . .yes, we Tivo all 3)

Law & Order (all of them. . .I even like the Conviction one. And to make matters worse, I insist upon doing the ". . .these are their stories. Dun-DUN! (bad spell out of L&O sound)" EVERY TIME IT COMES ON! :lmao: )

My absolute favorite show, though (evidenced by me owning all of the available seasons ;) ) is Gilmore Girls. I try my hardest never to miss that one!

I was also addicted to American Idol during the Clay/Ruben year and to Survivor during the one with Colby in Australia. . .he was SO hot! (as my dear high schoolers say! ;) )

Mmm, I love to watch TV! :rotfl2: This is my list of must see!

The Apprentice
American Idol
Survivor
The Amazing Race
CSI
The Next Food Network Star

I am so glad I am not the only one!!!

And our excuse, my fellow DISer's is that we are so intense in all aspects of our lives that we MUST have brainless television...and books...I read the bodice rippers, as my DH calls them.

It just makes us all well-rounded. :goodvibes

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Here it goes:

West Wing
All 3 CSI's (even David Caruso's stare off into space) :smooth:
LOST
How I Met Your Mother
NUMB3RS

And to wrap it up Old School Style...I just got Season 4 of Magnum PI from my DW which will be watched as much as the first 3 seasons that she got me

The only shows I make it a point to watch every week are The West Wing, Grey's Anatomy and The Office. But, I have been sucked into the vacuum of reality TV on occasion too. I'm most susceptible to the marathons - Next Top Model on VH-1 and my guiltiest of guilty pleasures - the Real World/Road Rules challenges on MTV!

I watch my fair share of mindless tv.

Survivor
American Idol
Nickelodeon Cartoons like Fairly Oddparents, Spongebob, Jimmy Neutron

I even fall asleep to Nick at Night... Reruns of Roseanne, Fresh Prince, Cosby, Mad About You.

I admit it, I tivo'd Survival of the Richest.

I also like America's Next Top Model, Amazing Race, Real World/ Road Rules challenge, and....ssshhhh.......Monster House.

OKAY HERE I GO...CANNOT BELIEVE I AM ADMITTING THIS BUT I LOVE

DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER!!! YUP, there I now feel much better like the rest of you that were able to come clean!!! :thumbsup2

Yes, I'm embarrassed to say I watch Being Bobby Brown, nothing like watching Bobby and Whitney. And then you can add the Surreal Life to my mindless list. Let's not forget the Iron Chef. I like mindless t.v., Jeopardy just depresses me. Alex, give me mindless t.v. for $300 please. :teeth:

how sad am i??? I DVR the SOAPS...not just 1, but 4. 4 SOAPS!!! and to beat, i read the spoilers online FIRST then i STILL watch the show!

Dog the Bounty Hunter (he's hot) :lmao:

Grey's- natch, as i am a nurse (not really, i just play on on tv) :rotfl:

Medium

oohhh and dont tell my DH, I love the WIGGLES  Anthony is my Mc Dreamy!!!
