Glad to hear you kept a Ford motor in it.
My dad keeps talking about getting an A to build. I'm all for going with a flathead :>
Either that or I was thinking of the obscure idea of getting a wrecked Mark 8 (since the are cheap) and pulling the DOHC 4.6 and making that work.
Or I'd really like to build a Factory Five Cobra, or i'd like to...
I have no shortage of ideas on what I'd like to do. Just a shortage of time and money.
So, what have you done with your 87?
I haven't gone wild with mine. Gears, intake, pulleys, converted to duals, lowered, koni's, frame connectors, all the typical odds and ends. I'd like to just ditch the carb and put in a roller motor with F.I..
The 66, is just a little off from stock. It was a basket case we picked up for $600. Put in floors, split the cowl, fixed the rust, painted it, put in a red and white pony interiour. GT trumpets through the valance (want to get the foglights for the grill) and a lo-po '75 302 with a 4bbl. It's a C4 automatic tho. But it does have factory AC!
