Will we see the sun?

We had a cold snowy winter and even our spring has been rainy and cool. I know it rains during June but next week's forecast is dismal. The icons are all rain, no sunshine. I've been looking forward to Florida sun for so long, I hope I see some.

Nah, forecast for next week looks like typical FL Summer weather - it will be fine. I'll be there next week too, so it better be fine!!

Just about every afternoon in Florida during the summer you get some rain, but I think you'll see some sun mixed in also. We were at WDW last week for 5 days following a cruise and had 2 days of pure sun and 3 days of sun and rain mixed. The rain was actually kind of nice because it cooled things down a bit. Hope you have a great time.

Get out to the parks first thing in the morning when it is still clear. You should plan on getting drenched mid to late afternoon. I get off work at 3:00 pm and by 5:00 pm it's usually storming somewhere. It can be very spotty though. I had 3.2 inches of rain in one hour and 5 miles away they didn't get a drop.

That's the summer time weather pattern here.

Yep agree with the rest. Welcome to the tropics, where it rains virtually every day all summer long SOME time, it's all a matter of how long. Normally you'll get heavy rain for around an hour in the afternoons, but mostly sunny the rest of the time. Occasionally you will get a day with more rain than sun, but that's generally infrequent.

I thought Disney had some weather device that only allows it to rain when they need to thin the crowd in the park!

3DisneyBuggs-we must be looking at the same exact weather forecast!!
We will be there next week as well for 8 days and everything I am seeing is showing a high percentage of rain. We are coming from a hot place, so a little rain does not bother me, but I really want to see some of that Florida sun!!

Here's hoping we see more sun than rain!! I already have 2 of my Disney ponchos packed!!
