Will we see any of the princesses on the Wonder?

I just returned from a 3 night cruise last month on the wonder. My only other Disney cruise was on the dream. My daughter is almost 3 and starting to love all things Disney princess. I didn't seek it out on the last cruise but after I got home it dawned on me that we didn't see any princess on the wonder. When we were on the dream we were headed from one area of ship to another and happened upon 3 of the princesses together in the atrium, people were taking pics with them.I am contemplating a last minute cruise for just me and my daughter this time and this may affect which ship I choose.

There should be a princess gathering on all the ships. They are ticketed events now but most people have luck getting tickets from Guest servcices/ excursion deck if they are showing as not available before hand.

We just got off the Wonder on Sunday. There were both the Princess Gathering and the Frozen Meet and Greet. Both require tickets which can be booked when your online check in window opens. We had 3 princesses at the Princess Gathering: Cinderella, Tiana, and Rapunzel. The Frozen Meet and Greet had Anna and Elsa, but no Olaf.

Definitely princesses on all the ships! Have a great time meeting them, your daughter will love it :)

Aside from the ticketed meet and greet are you meaning seeing princess just out and about? We did a 3 night on the Wonder in early March and saw princesses on several occasions. When we boarded Cinderella was in the atrium waving as everyone came aboard. The best interaction was seeing her randomly stop to try and cheer up a little girl that was upset because she was too young for the kids club. She took so much time with her and it was just wonderful to see! Did you not see Tiana walking around in Tiana's Place? She stopped at our table after we were seated and I was able to get a picture of her with my son and husband which was a nice unexpected interaction.

Aside from the ticketed meet-n-greets and Tiana in Tiana's Place, we saw princesses out and about on the Wonder. We ran into Belle shortly after boarding, and she paused and posed with us for photos, and we walked past her another day near the kids' clubs. We saw Cinderella walk by on her way from a (non-ticketed) m&g too. But what you're speaking of (with 3 or more of them together) was most definitely a ticketed event, and they will turn you away if you don't have a ticket.

On the Magic, the princesses who were part of the Princess Gathering all had individual meets at various times (usually evening) and locati me (not always/usually atrium) that did not require tickets so if you didn't get a ticket to the Gathering you could still meet them. Check your Navigator.

Honestly I think the only way you wouldn't see any of the Princesses on a Disney Cruise was if you walked around blindfold all the time. Even if you miss the meet and greets their are usually photo opportunities at different times in the atrium.

My daughter loved it!

Well we must have had incredibly bad timing. We did see tiana in tianas place, forgot about that. My daughter wasn't familiar with her however

That really is bad luck! Even outside of all those things, on the Magic we saw Cinderella in Twice Charmed and Rapunzel in the Tangled show.

We have been on the Wonder several times and there was never a lack of Princesses. Besides the ticketed events, they would have scheduled individual times as well as just walking around. You might want to check the Navigator and/or the character board in the atrium each morning to see who is scheduled. Have a great time!

We did see the princesses in the nightly shows. I poorly worded my original post. We didn't see them out for photo opportunities in the atrium like we did with the characters, mickey, Minnie, etc

You can look up past Navigators for the Wonder here: http://disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/

In the grid section there's a line for "characters".

As to who's on any given cruise, it can vary, depending on how long the cruise is. Often, the short cruises don't have as many random character meets as the long ones.

Also depends on which characters/princesses have vacation time to take a cruise.

On the Magic they were often out in the area of the picture of Walt in the theatre area. Not all the meet and greets are in the atrium. You have to check the Navigator or app or sign in the atrium.
